Reko This is the first artist I have actually learned all the lyrics to by ear. Come for the catchy tunes and stay for the words. The songs show a story; they don't tell you what to think. The album was recorded low-fi on real tape and it is the most beautiful collection of emotions I have heard since John Prine. The drums kick ass and the unique vocal stylings are weird enough to be an acquired taste, but I must have acquired it in the womb. I love this record. Favorite track: I Am Not My Own.
